GREENSAGE

01. Project Overview

This app prioritises a user-centric approach by providing a comprehensive database of sustainable features, energy-efficient designs, and green technologies. Fostering a community dedicated to mindful living represents a vision where every home is a step toward a more sustainable and harmonious future.

02. User Persona

Nadema Adi made the project come to life, understanding more about her needs, goals and tasks. Let’s begin with her story.

03. Lo-fidelity, Mid-fidelity and Hi-fidelity Wireframes

After reviewing the user stories and flows, we’re creating simple versions of the app. These low—and mid-fidelity wireframes give a glimpse of how the GreenSage app will look and work in real life.

04. Style Guide

I selected typography to enhance GreenSage's visual identity. Headings and titles feature the bold and modern Barlow font, complemented by the clean and readable Roboto for paragraph text, creating a harmonious blend of sophistication and clarity throughout the app.

05. Mood Boards

The designs convey a sense of serenity, sustainability, and luxury that my persona Nadema embodies and wishes to showcase to her clients. I believe this design is both timeless and elegant.

06. Brand Images

The images show modern, clean, sleek, and stylish homes. They also convey a sense of class, innovation, and sophistication that professionals seek and would be happy to invest in and contribute to environmental responsibility. Creating these visuals will align with aspirations for an eco-friendly, sustainable future.

Reflections

I went through multiple design stages that contributed to a deeper understanding of how to create the GreenSage Sustainable Homes real estate app. Each step, from shaping user personas and crafting user stories to mapping out user flows, aimed to align GreenSage with the needs of its potential users. The development of the style guide became a pivotal tool in ensuring consistent visual language. I progressed through low-, mid-, and high-fidelity prototypes.

However, challenges arose in maintaining consistency across the different design phases. Balancing user interfaces, style elements, and functionality while adhering to the style guide required careful attention. In the future, I would enhance this process by establishing a more robust feedback loop and refining the style guide iteratively. This adaptive approach would contribute to a more seamless design process, ensuring consistency while meeting the evolving needs of GreenSage's users.
